Since 1959, Skrapan is still a well-known landmark in Stockholm. Skrapan is a natural meeting place and shopping center with shops, cafés and restaurants.
Skrapan, formerly Skatteskrapan, was originally designed by architect Paul Hedqvist in a modernist international style. Hedqvist was inspired by skyscrapers in the USA and by Italian offices.
